He worked as a junior high and high school literature teacher (and sports coach) for 10 years before taking a post as youth and worship pastor at Fox Valley Evangelical Free Church in Illinois. He and his wife Lisa (with their four boys) moved to Crossroads in 2002. Larry served as associate pastor from 2002-2008 and in June 2008 was appointed senior pastor.
Justus and his wife Samantha were involved in youth work in Russia, junior-high teaching and youth work in San Diego, church-planting in Nice, and now directing the youth and 20s to 30s programme at Crossroads. Justus and Samantha have three children and they all moved to Crossroads in the summer of 2009.
Ian Rutter and his wife Teri have served in France for almost 30 years as missionaries. In 2009 Ian was appointed pastor-at-large at Crossroads recognizing the work of ministry that he does throughout the Pays de Gex. He consults the elders on French culture, French needs, and strategic church issues. Ian and Teri have four grown children - all talented and good-looking like their parents.
Lyn loves kids! She has worked with the children's programme at Crossroads for many years and has co-written the 5 year Bible curriculum along with other leaders from the children's programme. Lyn's lifetime involvement and training with the International Red Cross has prepared her well for working with volunteers and for passing along compassion for the world God loves. Lyn has three sons and is married to Steve.
