We believe children matter to God and that belief influences all we do at Crossroads.

We believe Sundays at church should be a fun experience – something to look forward to. We plan our Sunday School with as much care and attention to detail as any aspect of our programme.

We are a church made up of many nationalities and this is reflected in our Sunday School too, both children and teachers. This reinforces the fact Christianity is a world faith and not limited to one ethnic group.

 

God Calls Us: A Study of Genesis

On Sunday mornings from 3 January until 16 May, the Sunday School lessons will cover the book of Genesis.

Our Sunday school programme each week includes a worship time, creative story-telling, craft-work and teaching that is life related. Our leadership team has developed a five-year curriculumm that covers the whole of the Bible and embraces a variety of educational methods. This has proved to be popular with kids and parents alike.

We run our Sunday School parallel to both morning services (9.30 and 11.15 or at one service at 10.00 during July and August) - please contact our office for further information.

 

M&Ms: Music & Movement … and pizza!
All 8-10 year olds are invited to come and sing, move, play instruments, and have fun preparing to lead children’s worship at the Crossroads Together Weekend. Next meeting: Wednesday 21 April 2010, 4.30-6.00pm at the church.

 

Krossroads Kids World Cup
NEEDED: Children 4-10 who like crafts, music, sport or dance to compete in wacky games at Crossroads Together Weekend: 30 April – 2 May 2010. Please contact our office for further information.

 

Sunday School Picnic
Bring along some friends and join us for the family picnic on 28 May 2010 at Crossroads Church. There will be a barbecue, supervised crèche, games, films for tired kids, and adult fellowship.

 

V.I.P.S. (Volunteers, Ideas & Prayer Sharing)

Regular meetings for Sunday School teachers, children’s ministry helpers and event planners to get to know each other, share what’s happening in children’s ministry and support each other with prayer.

We meet at the church the last Saturday of the month from 10:00 to 11:30am. Croissants  and coffee/tea provided. 2010 VIPS: 30 January, 27 February, 27 March, 24 April.
